Brothers in arms...
Armed with Macbooks, graphics tablets, sketchpads and pencils, brothers Daniel (Dan) and Luke Crawford, trading as Crawford Designworks, draw on their vast wealth of combined design experience, across many creative disciplines, to offer an extensive range of professional design services.
Established in 2011, trading as Luke Crawford Design, Luke combined his graphic design, marketing and advertising background with his web and multi-media education to steadily build and grow the business over the next seven years.
With a solid foundation of loyal customers and following years of the ‘one day we should work together’ conversation, finally in early 2018, words were replaced by actions, when older brother Dan decided to leave his hectic lifestyle as a Design and Project Manager and bring his artistic, graphic and product design skills to the business.
In January 2019, after nine successful months establishing the next phase of the business together, Dan and Luke became an equal partnership and re-branded the business Crawford Designworks.
With a focus on excellent customer service Dan and Luke are proud to work closely with their clients, listening to their exacting needs to ensure they only provide design that works!

An experienced graphic and website designer with over 20 years industry experience. Luke has spent his career successfully combining both graphic and website design/development. Luke is as equally comfortable designing a new brands as he is designing and developing wesbsites.
After enjoying the first few years of his career at Johnston Press Plc (The Halifax Courier), Luke progressed to the Dean Clough based Marketing Agency, Cherry Design & Marketing as Senior Designer. In 2009 this role developed into a partnership to launch a local publication and website before setting out on his own to start Crawford Designworks (formerly Luke Crawford Design) in 2011.
In his spare time, Luke and wife Natalie are kept busy with their pets, garden and allotment. Luke loves the outdoors; walking, hiking, mountain biking and an occasional round of golf. Luke loves music, watching live bands, football, catching up with friends and spending time with his nephews and nieces.
Daniel Crawford

Skilled in many aspects of art, design, marketing, management, manufacture and installation, Dan is an experienced design and project manager with a demonstrated history of working in the design industry.
A Product Design graduate, award winning ceramic artist, graphic designer in the wine trade and design manager for a seasonal display company. Dan has designed and project managed in a creative capacity throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East and worked closely with many notable clients including the design and development of Centre Parcs ‘Winter Wonderland’ across all five UK sites.
Married with two children, Dan is a proud, music obsessed, Yorkshireman, playing lead guitar in the alternative rock band ‘From The Hills’. He is a qualified wine expert?! with a taste for real ale, a love of live music, art, cinema, football, rugby and motor sports. Dan has a real passion for nature and the great outdoors; hills, mountains, rivers and trees are a constant inspiration.

We will work with you through the design process to ensure your website matches your brand, meets your requirements and engages with site visitors.
We build bespoke ecommerce websites in WordPress and Shopify. We’ll integrate your website with your favoured payment gateway (e.g. PayPal, Stripe etc.) and give your customers an intuitive, engaging online experience to ensure they feel confident to purchase from you.
As with all our websites, your website will be responsive meaning it will look great on desktop, tablet and mobile and we’ll setup all your on-site SEO tags to get your site ready to perform well on Google, Bing and other search engines.
